File upload and checkout was simple and straightforward and I got my results within 10-15 mins of paying. I found the results to align well with my known ancestry and liked the detailed breakdown of the different time periods, the reference populations were also very informative and had a lot of content to learn about my own background from. The maps and the reference population images also give the site a infotainment feel. I would recommend this to other users who want to know more about their ancestral origins.

It lacks any real scientific methodology (like standard PCA or admixture analysis), and the results I received were completely inconsistent and unreliable. Do not mistake this for a legitimate genetic service. Deceptive practices: It is clear that this platform uses AI to generate content that may look plausible but has no basis in your actual genetic data. They do not provide any white papers or transparency on how their model is trained. Avoidance tactics and bad support: When I requested a refund because the service was not what was advertised, they refused to return my money. Instead, they tried to trick me by offering "another free test" with a different file, which would clearly result in the same AI nonsense. Blocking customers: When I rejected their offer and insisted on a refund, they blocked my email address entirely to avoid further communication. This is a classic sign of a bad-faith business. If you value your money and the security of your genetic data, do not upload your raw DNA files here. They are not a professional or trustworthy entity. I am currently escalating this to my financial institution due to the lack of service and their refusal to communicate. Save yourself the trouble and use established, transparent, and peer-reviewed services instead.
